Customized Name Plate ... "Forever and always" ... these are SO fun to make! They can placed on a wide variety surfaces from the wall, outside door, a glass picture frame, wooden plaque, to metal and other flat surfaces. They can be cut in one color and hung as is, or with a small line of script like "est'd 2005" running through the middle of the last name in a second color. They can also be cut with the last name in a completely different color.
Some ideas for family text include "THE JONES FAMILY" ... "THE JONES" ... "MARK & JANE" ... "JONES" ... etc. Use a bolded serif font like Times New Roman, and stretch it out horizontally and vertically to fit the appropriate space. Ignore the font proportion-sizing rules ... there's really no right and wrong, just make the name big and wide so that it is the center of attention. We've shown a layout idea in this picture that we think looks nice. Have fun!
