Transfer tape, contact paper, or masking tape?

We highly recommend using the Transfer Rite Ultra Transfer Tape (high tack) or R-TAPE Conform 4075-RLA Transfer Tape for all your Oracal vinyl projects, especially if you're selling finished vinyl projects.

Some use contact paper and masking tape for smaller, around the house projects.  However, in the long term these quick fixes can be more costly and take more time, especially if you like to create with vinyl.  If you plan to do several projects, keep a 15" or 24" wide roll of professional, opaque transfer tape on hand.  A used piece of transfer tape can be reused a couple times for personal projects.  (We keep our used sheets gently tacked to the wall and/or sides of the bookshelf.)  It's very affordable and perfect if you have a "surprise" sale of one of your finished masterpieces.
