"I just ordered your stick family designs and am excited to get started. You recommend the Oracal 631 vinyl for most projects, but is it suitable for stick figures that will be attached to vehicles (extreme fluctuations in weather) or is there a more durable vinyl used for that?"
Oracal 631 vinyl works fantastic for indoor projects, but it will only last about a year outdoors. The Oracal 651 vinyl is still relatively easy to work, but has an outdoor life of about 4 years. There is also an Oracal 751 vinyl which will last about 6-7 years outdoors, but it can be tricky to work with in cutting small stick people. So we recommend using one of the latter two oracal films for outdoors. The higher the number on the vinyl film, the more expensive it costs, so be sure to charge your customers accordingly. You can order these vinyl films from any major vinyl supplier.
